Altar Workers – Working with those that are trained and organized to work with those that come to the altar for spiritual guidance. (Floyd Brown)
Young Adult Ministry -- Young adults between 18-35. Going forward in their callings and yet being trained as they emerge into the leaders of the Church today and tomorrow. Given opportunities in assisting, teaching, counseling, and developing those that are younger. Every third Sunday is Young Adult Sunday. (Crystal Chism)
Youth Ministry – Working with our young people between 12-18. Assisting in teaching, counseling, chaperons, and transportation as we help developed young people in making wise decisions in life. Every second Sunday is Youth Sunday. (Raneshia Robinson)
Children’s Ministry – Working with our children as teachers and assistants in helping with the spiritual development of our children. Also developing and directing the Children’s choir. (First Lady Lendor Brown)
Nursery Team – Serving as workers in taking care of the precious children while the Sunday service are conducted. The Nursery is so situated and equipped that one can see and hear the services. (First Lady Lendor Brown)
Growth Group Ministry – This involves training and serving as group facilitators and coordinators since Siloam is a church that consist of many Growth Groups. (Pastor Otis F. Brown Jr.)
Ushering and Greeter’s Ministry – This involves being on the frontline of meeting people and maintaining the order and safety of our services. Ushers and greeters comprise this ministry. (Darlene Eikerenkoetter)
Music Ministry – Being involved in the organized music, such as choirs, ensembles, quartets, an solos. This also would include the playing of instruments. (Tim Marshall)
Praise & Dance Ministry – This involves the creative praise and dance ministering in the church and abroad. (Sherie Marshall)
Hospitality Ministry – This ministry provides a social atmosphere for fellowshipping on certain Sundays and occassions with assorted refreshments. They also assist our guest speakers and out of town guests by showing them hospitality. (Debra & Floyd Brown)
Bulletin Board Designer – The first thing one sees as they enter the church. This involves selecting and applying themes and graphics on the board on a monthly schedule. God has gifted many this way. (Ericka Stocker)
Custodial Ministry – This involves the maintenance of the inside and outside of the church building and grounds. This also includes the Pole lights and the Lighted sign messages. (Cleotis Hill)
Church Office – This involves secretarial work, financial data entry, guest and member mailings and notifications. Working with the Senior Pastor.
Vacation Bible School – Directing and developing the VBS program each year. Also serving as one of the many sub-directors of a particular department of the VBS.
Deacon & Deaconess Ministry – Serving in many different areas such as teachers, trainers, altar assistants, helpers in homes as different situations arise. Distributors of food and clothing. Making hospital visits as directed by the pastor. Prayer leaders. The Deacons also assist in opening and closing the church. (Arthur Davis)
Security Department – Those that serve in monitoring and protecting the members, parking lots and buildings. They also assist in opening and closing the church. (McKinely Nixon)
